A presentation specially designed for the international community, content producers and press participating in ONSeries. The new streaming platform, launched in Europe less than a month ago, belongs to the Brazilian giant GLOBO and features original in-house production.

Introducing Portugal to the world, professor Catarina Duff Burnay gave us an overview of what's happening in Portuguese TV Fiction.

The international audiovisual industry consultancy firm specialized in content and audience analysis presented during ONSeries Lisboa its latest study on narrative trends in worldwide fiction. GECA offered an overview of what is currently happening in the international fiction market, and delved into what's next. A session to help producers, curators, distributors and buyers to reflect on the real possibilities offered by the production of a fiction series inspired by books, comics, digital publications, or graphic novels and that aims not only to be broadcast on linear platforms or channels, but also on the web, podcasts or social networks. A good example of this reality is the fusion between e-sports and video games with audiovisual narrative, something that was also discussed.

A workshop to explore the different options you can approach when faced with the Herculean task of financing a project. An international expert advised on the best route
s that different projects should try and the tools to reach for your own Himalaya climbing.

Both talent and producers need to master the skill of pitching. This session was designed to prepare participants for their best pitch, with not only what should the pitch content be and what materials to use (bible, teaser, etc), but also how to state their position as a producer in the series when approaching investors, and the relevance of rhetoric, body movement and non-verbal communication.

This workshop focused on how different international players have gotten a collaboration with such high-stakes to work. Taking as an example the recently produced 'Drought' tv series with Portuguese partners, speakers discussed what the main difficulties are, what to focus on and how to avoid a crisis when you want to get an international series produced.

On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, we reserved this space to make visible the role of the audiovisual industry in giving voice to all people who are suffering or have suffered some kind of gender violence.

OPTO SIC was born on November 24, 2020 and is the Impresa Group's major bet in the universe of streaming platforms.
